A five day silent spiritual retreat organized by Holy Cross Catholic Church Kenya with conferences. For adult men and women.

Where: Ngoliba (40 minutes from Thika on Garissa road)

When: From 15/12/2025 to 20/12/2025

Arrival: Monday at noon

Departure: Saturday at 2PM

Who: Adults, men and women.

How: Full time day and night, you cannot go home at night, you cannot arrive late or leave early

No phone during the retreat

Silence, you can however speak with the priests

We have 5 conferences a day

How much: Kes. 6,000 + 1,000 for transport

  • Every Friday of lent we will have the way of the Cross after the evening mass. Abstinence of meat is also compulsory during the Friday of lent and highly commendable as a traditional practice every Friday of the year.
  • Next Sunday, first Sunday of the Month, we will have the Adoration during the afternoon. We will organize a conference in the school hall at 3pm about the episcopal consecration. No groups meeting next Sunday but conference for all faithful.
  • Holy Cross Church will host an Organic Farmers Market on Sunday, March 1st, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Parishioners are invited to sell fresh produce and homemade products, and all are welcome to shop and support our farmers. Proceeds will support the construction of the new church building. Kindly see the poster shared in the groups for details.
  • The parish will organize a pilgrimage to Ecône for the episcopal consecration. We will have two options: A six-days trip to attend the priestly ordinations and the consecrations. A twelve-days trip to add the visit of some sanctuaries in France. You will find more information on the link published on our WhatsApp and Telegram groups.
